My college paper manages to piss everyone off....again!
Third time in four years! There was that time someone wrote an article that made the christian student organization look bad and BAM, some christian student took ALL the papers off campus. Then there was last years amazing "Rape Only Hurts If You Fight It" debacle.

This time...it's a cartoon. And it's pissed off the women...and the minorities.



My paper tends to publish some controversial cartoons (most of which aren't funny). I can't think of the last time we printed one that didn't make fun of anything that was worth defending. We did make fun of that guy that apparently ejaculated on a passed out girl, but he deserves it.

I'm actually in the editor's corner where it's no worse then say, South Park or Family Guy. It's actually really quite tame when compared some of the shit South Park's done, but there's less satire and life lessons in this.

I've spoken to a girl who I do believe is latino, and she doesn't take issue with it. Granted if 99% of the latinas take issue with it, then there's something not quite right about printing this thing.

One professor is planning to sue the school paper. I think that's overdoing it.

BOO to this idiot. I don't like censorship BUT ONLY WHEN IT'S THINGS I LIKE! If I hate it, then SHUT UP! The fact that her logo is a rose in the pentagram makes it far worse. I imagine her as some high-school liberal fuck-wit* whose only hating on authority cause it's "cool".
